Food and service were great. I particularly enjoyed the Mexican roll. Can't wait to go back!

Hands down the best sushi in the capital district. If I could eat here multiple times a week I would. When you walk in you are immediately welcomed with a delicious aroma and a smile from the nicest staff. Every item we’ve tried has been phenomenal. Service is excellent. The staff are friendly and sweet people. It can get busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but be patient— it’s worth the wait. The spicy tuna crunch roll melts in your mouth. The pizza roll is a fun choice. Appetizers and soups are great. Everything is high quality and visually stunning.

Our family of five had a wonderful experience at Sushi Tei! The waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious we ordered sushi rolls, udon, and chicken with noodles, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant has a great atmosphere clean, comfortable, and perfect for families. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I'm here often, a big fan for sure. The ramen here is also one of the top 3 of at least 20 mi. Of Albany! Just called in a day prior to book a reservation for 17 people. Not only were they able to accommodate, but the service was incredible! We had a blast and all the staff was amazing! Food took very little time. It was prepared well and tasted incredible!

Liked. the diversity of menu. Quantities substantial. Very good service. A steady but manageable flow of customers. I suspect with a bar that Friday and Saturday would be more lively. We're in Albany from Massachusetts for other scheduled events but met friends for dinner. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing, traditional Japanese food, from appetizers to sushi, in a cozy but fancy atmosphere. Our server, Julianna was attentive and provided an excellent service. One of the best sushi places in a hundred miles.

My go-to Japanese place! I probably come at least once or twice a month. I take my friends and family here whenever they come to the area. Extensive and authentic menu, my go-to order is the sushi deluxe or sushi sashimi combo. The fish is fresh, the fish to rice ratio is also delightful, never too much rice. I’ve not ordered a bad item from the menu. Will continue to visit!

Wonderful experience dining here during UAlbany's Family Weekend this past weekend. Came here on a Friday after 7p and we were seated right away. Server was helpful and knowledgeable on the various sushi rolls and dishes. The sushi was fresh and delicious! The salmon teriyaki bento box was good! It didn't come with the usual California rolls as other bento boxes I have had at other establishments. It came with my choice for a house salad. Everything was delicious and priced well! Will definitely return when in the area
